Quick review on OneBlade CORE which I borrowed from Paul. Paul has been giving good reviews on its gentleness and truthfully I was skeptical on how gentle it is. After all, I thought my “Mustafa” razor was pretty gentle already, even after comparing several razor I’ve own.

After trying it, I must say it is really gentle. Much gentler than what I expected. Of course, this comes with a price of effectiveness, as I had to shave multiple times in the area to be sure that it did cut my facial hair. Here’s the scoring:

OneBlade CORE (Paired with Single-Edge Feather Blade)

• Gentleness: 9.5/10 (Most gentle razor I’ve tried)
• Effectiveness: 4/10 (Had to shave multiple times on the same area)
• Ergonomics: 6/10 (It’s pretty light, though still pretty sturdy considering it’s plastic. Angle is a little fixed, making some areas hard to reach)
• Experience: 7/10 (Key feeling is really gentle shave. Perhaps a little too gentle with the doubt if I did clean shave)

Overall quite a good razor and would recommend to people who want a gentle shave and is new to wet shaving. Personally I would go for something more aggressive to get hair out of my face fast though
